Please be assured that we always take hygiene seriously at About Backs & Bones and extra measures to mitigate disease spread are being implicated:
- Every door handle, banister and area’s commonly touched by the public are being bleached daily.
- Extra couch roll is being used around the face area of couches and changed inbetween patients (couch covers have been left on the couches as the coronavirus survives less well on a non-smooth surface)
- Handwashing occurs between patients as normal and notices are in situ to encourage staff and visitors to follow good handwashing technique
- Staff and visitors are being encouraged to be vigilant about contact with high-risk carriers and know the signs of coronavirus infection; dry cough, fever, difficulty breathing.
