We are asking everyone who is thinking about having treatment to weigh up government advice for social distancing against their need to have treatment.
We have had to make the decision, however, to treat only those people who are in substantial pain and feel it is worth the risk to themselves, our staff and the wider community. However, please do not attend if you have a new dry cough or temperature over 37.8’C OR if you are in contact with someone with these symptoms.
As well as our extra precautions we are stepping up efforts to minimise spread:
-
You may be asked to wait in an upstairs room rather than the waiting room
-
Some of our practitioners have opted to wear protective clothing in the form of glasses, masks, gloves or aprons.
We will continue to provide a service with these constraints for as long as is necessary.
Many Thanks for your understanding
Paula
